In short, that's what we do. You tell us about yourself and we match you with the best lender available, based on how much you're looking for and the best interest rate that's available to you.
We are the only independant loan broker in the UK that works like this. Most other brokers of any size charge an upfront fee, only recommend the 3 or 4 lenders who will pay them commission and if you don't like what they've done they make it extremely difficult for you to get a refund of their fee.
We have a set of complex algorithms that work away behind the scenes to compare the 50 or 60 bits of data that you tell us about yourself, with the hundreds of bits of data that we have about UK lenders. We will deliver you as many different options as we can find. We work for our customers, so we wont let any commission payments that lenders give us affect the decision of which lender we recommend to you. Instead we use those commissions to reduce the price of our fees and reinvest that money into constantly improving our systems and processes.
I employ 96 fantastic, hard-working people who provide our customers with as good a service as we possibly can. The majority of those customers receive a service that they're happy or very happy with* and I'm very proud of the fact that we are able to do that. We hold "usability testing sessions" every week and we'd like you to come along and share your thoughts and experiences with us. Usability testing sessions aren't half as scary as they sound – all we do is leave you in a room, let you use a bit of our website and we'll talk to you whilst you're using it to work out which bits are good (we'll do more of those) and which bits are bad (and we'll do less of those).
We're really friendly, we always have ample supplies of tea and biscuits and if you come on a Friday you can enjoy our lunchtime BBQ (weather permitting!).
